New member of Staff and a redesigned Parters' Lodge at Pembroke
Lara Avincola has joined the Pembroke conference team from Hawkwell House hotel. She brings valuable experience from her previous role and strengthens the busy team.
Earlier this year the College levelled the Old Quad and completed a brand new Porters' Lodge (displacing the Events Team from their old office to a lovely room across the Quad!) These changes have made a big impact to both College and conference life, streamlining the arrival of guests and providing complete accessibility from the main entrance through into College.
Located in the heart of Oxford, Pembroke College, founded in 1624, is a lively, forward thinking and ambitious intellectual community. Tucked away just off the main thoroughfare of St Aldate's, this hidden gem of the city with its dedicated team and fresh and professional approach to events, provides a convenient and inspiring environment for meetings, dinners and conferences for up to 170 delegates. Pembroke's range of beautiful quads and buildings date from the 15th to the 21st centuries. With the addition of a new complex of buildings in recent years to its historic site, Pembroke possesses numerous spaces of differing architectural styles and size, combining the beauty and charm of an old Oxford college withthehstate of the art technology expected of a modern conference centre.
