Accessibility

The University of Oxford is made up of a diverse range of venues, from historic colleges to contemporary conference facilities. Accessibility arrangements therefore vary between locations, and delegates are encouraged to contact venues directly to discuss any specific requirements ahead of their visit.

The University's Access Guide provides information on the accessibility of many University and college buildings, including details of entrances, lifts, toilets, hearing assistance systems and other facilities.

Transport

Oxford is within easy reach of London, with frequent direct rail services from both Paddington and Marylebone. Combined with excellent road connections and convenient access to Heathrow and Birmingham airports, the city is easily accessible for delegates travelling from across the UK and overseas. Many of Oxford's venues are also within walking distance of the railway station and city centre amenities.

As a historic city, parking in Oxford city centre is limited and can be expensive. Many University and college venues do not have on-site parking available for delegates or visitors, so guests may wish to consider public transport or one of Oxford's Park & Ride services when planning their journey.
