Stroll through stunning gardens, uncover hidden stories, and enjoy a unique summer experience.

Following the success of last year's programme, we are delighted to announce the return of the Rhodes House Garden Tours for summer 2026.

Led by Head Gardener Neil Wigfield, these complimentary guided tours offer a unique opportunity to explore the beautiful gardens of Rhodes House while discovering their history, planting schemes, and seasonal highlights. Whether you are a keen gardener, a history enthusiast, or simply looking to enjoy a peaceful afternoon in one of Oxford's most distinctive green spaces, the tours provide a fascinating insight into the landscape and horticultural heritage of this historic setting.

Guided tours will be offered on selected dates throughout the summer, from 21 May to 3 September 2026, with each tour starting at 2.00pm. Visitors will be guided through the gardens by Neil, who will share his expertise on the gardens' design, plant collections, and the changing displays throughout the season.

The tours are free to attend and open to all. As places are limited and demand is expected to be high, advance booking is recommended.
