Univ's New North Oxford Community

This summer, University College will open Univ North, a vibrant new community in North Oxford designed to support academic achievement, wellbeing, and connection.

Located just a short walk from Oxford city centre, Univ North offers modern, purpose-built accommodation in a welcoming environment where students can live, study, and thrive. Thoughtfully designed with liveability at its core, the development combines contemporary facilities with spaces that encourage learning, collaboration, health, and engagement with nature.

The new community will feature:

• 100 double en-suite bedrooms
• Flexible meeting and event spaces accommodating up to 80 guests
• A welcoming café with seating for 90
• Convenient access to university departments, libraries, museums, cafés, and key transport links

Univ North has been created to provide more than just accommodation. It is a place where students can build connections, find balance, and enjoy a high-quality living experience while being fully connected to the wider Oxford community.
