Department of Statistics

The Department of Statistics provides state-of-the-art teaching and conference facilities with modern space to allow collaboration and integration. It is perfectly situated for easy access to the centre of Oxford as well as the bustling coffee shops and restaurants of Jericho.

The self-contained lower ground floor conference suite includes a lecture theatre seating up to 120 people, a small lecture room for up to 34 people and an IT & Teaching suite for up to 48 people plus one small meeting room. Full IT and audio/visual support is available including projectors, LCD wall mounted screens and touchscreens and induction loop audio support. There is also the option to record talks and to stream to other meeting rooms.

On the ground floor, the light and airy modern social area looks out across St Giles' and is well equipped to host coffee breaks, lunches and drinks receptions for up to 120 people. All rooms are fully wheelchair accessible.

With strong links to many of our neighbouring colleges, the option for accommodation and evening dinners would be very easy to provide for residential conferences.
