Life and Mind Building

We are excited to announce that the Life and Mind Building is now open for external conferencing and event bookings. As a brand‑new, purpose-built facility, we are continuing to refine our booking and operational processes over the coming months, but we are fully ready to welcome events of all scales.

Capacities

• Three state‑of‑the‑art lecture theatres, each seating 150.
• Two of these can be merged to create a large 300‑seat plenary space.
• A range of flexible flat-floor teaching rooms in varying sizes, suitable for workshops, parallel sessions, and breakout spaces.
• On-site AV technician support to ensure events run seamlessly.

Catering & Hospitality
Our fantastic on-site caterer, BaxterStorey, is fully equipped to provide everything from working lunches to high‑end gala dinners. Menus can be tailored to suit a wide range of event styles and dietary requirements.
