Oxford University Rugby Football Club (OURFC), founded in 1869, is unique within the University of Oxford for having its own site with a pitch, stands, changing rooms, and the Pavilion social space. The Pavilion, over 100 years old, features photographs of every Varsity rugby team from the past 150 years.

Located a mile from the city centre on Iffley Road, east Oxford, OURFC offers easy access from the M40 and regular bus routes from Oxford train station, with on-site parking available for guests. The Pavilion includes a large kitchen for external or self-catering use, and a well-stocked bar with drinks on tap and staff available for an additional fee.

OURFC is able to cater for a wide variety of events, having hosted everything from intimate reunion dinners and corporate conferences to large sporting events like the Bike Oxford cycling event. The pitch is available for hire from April to September, suitable for sporting events and large indoor-to-outdoor events like weddings, receptions, and wakes. The stands seat around 1300, with additional standing capacity for over 5000.

    The Gallery Room is a light and airy space, with a view to the pitch, perfect for meetings, conferences, summer schools, and drinks receptions to spill out onto a seating area outside.

    Accessibility

    One floor only with ramp access. Outdoor seating area is stepped, with ramp access around the outside.

    The Dining Room is perfect for evening dinners, as an informal social space, or as a large classroom (8 tables of 6).

    Access via Jackdaw Lane is flat and wheelchair accessible; access via Iffley Road involves a fairly steep hill with uneven paths (but no steps).
