500 Years of Corpus Christi College

Corpus Christi College marks its Quincentenary in 2017

Founded in 1517, Corpus Christi College, in the heart of Oxford, is embarking on an incredibly exciting and interesting period for the college. In 2017 the college will be celebrating its ‘Quincentenary’ and will be hosting over 40 events throughout the year, both in Oxford and across the world, for its alumni and friends.

The College has come a long way in 500 years and now boasts state of the art conference facilities. Built into the bastion of the College’s ancient City wall the popular MBI Al Jaber Building auditorium has a capacity of 120 in theatre style. The Fraenkel, Rainolds, Seminar and Morelli rooms are perfect break out rooms with each room catering for a variety of set ups and numbers.

It is not just Corpus Christi’s Conference facilities that are getting the City talking. Corpus has recently reopened the exciting and newly refurbished ‘Oldham Building’ opposite the main college site. The result is 61 stunning rooms, of which 39 are ensuite, 6 kitchenettes along with its own gym and fantastic views over Oxford. Corpus welcomes residential conferences, events and accommodation enquiries during the Easter vacation in March/April and the summer vacation in July, August and September.
