Exeter College Hall and Library
Exeter College Hall was renovated during Christmas break and the first few weeks of Hilary Term 2024. The main reason for the closure was to upgrade the Hall's lighting, making it well-lit throughout the day and in all seasons. It also allowed for easy lighting adjustment for different events, such as formal dinners or exams requiring bright lighting or soft lighting.
The Exeter College Library has been shortlisted for this year's British Construction Industry Awards (BCIA) after undergoing significant restoration and improvement work during the 2022–2023 academic year. The most distinguished honors in the built environment field are the BCIAs. They honor superior project delivery, which is a testament to the diligence of the entire team—clients and contractors alike. It has also been nominated for an architectural prize.
