Vincent’s Club is open for Christmas Celebrations

Hold your Christmas celebration at our newest member venue and one of Oxford's hidden gems

Vincent's Club is pleased to announce that this year it will be opening its doors for private Christmas celebrations. Vincent’s is one of Oxford's most prestigious clubs; predominantly, but not exclusively, for Oxford Blues (Varsity Sports Scholars) at Oxford University.

The club was founded in 1863 by the redoubtable Oxford sportsman, Walter Bradford Woodgate, the club’s first president, and is located just off the High Street at 1a King Edward Street. The Club has recently been refurbished but has retained the essential character that has been exclusively Vincent's for 150 years.

Behind its famous blue door you will find a wood panelled bar and adjoining lounge, complete with leather Chesterfields set around cosy fireplaces - a perfect place to relax on a cold winter’s evening. The lounge is a very flexible space which can be used for your Christmas pre-dinner drinks, receptions and buffets.

The large dining room can seat up to 40 guests for your Christmas dinner; it is decorated with original 19th century Vanity Fair sporting prints and boasts splendid views of Oxford High Street from its large double height sash windows. If you’re looking for something more intimate, the smaller private dining room can accommodate for 6 to 8 people.

The sumptuous Christmas menu, which can include a traditional roast with all the trimmings, can be found here
