Training for St John Ambulance taking place at St Hilda's College
The volunteer-led health charity St John Ambulance began its programme of training for volunteer vaccinators on the weekend of 23/24 January, using St Hilda's College as an Oxford Training hypercentre. The training will continue through February and 177 volunteers were trained on the first weekend. Outside of London, the college is the biggest venue doing this in the country!
St Hilda's are delighted to help with the charity's efforts to help vaccinate the nation by donating their buildings, including the first-time use of their new Riverside Pavilion and Boundary Building. All went well despite the snowy conditions.
