The Ashmolean will reopen its doors on Monday 10 August!
The Ashmolean held two sucessful ‘soft launch’ days this week to check the measures they had put in place to reassure visitors of their commitment to reopening the museum as a safe and enjoyable place to visit once again.
We are delighted to report that the Museum have extended the Young Rembrandt exhibition run to ensure that as many people as possible have the opportunity to enjoy it.
To help keep everyone safe they will be limiting the number of visitors to the Museum and introducing a range of additional safety measures. There’s even a new pop-up outdoor café on the forecourt to enjoy!
Pre-booking is essential for general admission (free) and access to the exhibition (paid) – both are really straightforward and there’s plenty of pre-visit information available on the website.
The Ashmolean Team cannot wait to welcome you back to the Museum.
